TIP # 1

Check the oil please!
How often do you check the fluid levels in your car? How often do you check the fluid level in your machines? Today’s machines contain sophisticated parts that need a service check. How can you be sure that the machine is being taken care of especially if you are a small company that does not have the equipment or capability of purchasing and using preventative maintenance software?

Review the operations manual on each machine.

Highlight each phrase or sentence that mentions a maintenance procedure.

Make a machine chart with column headings of DAY, WEEK, MONTH, BI-ANNUAL, and ANNUAL

Copy all highlighted items from the machines manual onto the chart under the correct column heading.

Now be faithful about following the chart and you have a better chance of keeping the car (machine) operating properly for its’ declared life expectancy. You could also do this for your car or truck.
